Bookmark a Page in Google Chrome

  1. Have the web page that you would like to bookmark open.
  2. Click on the hollow star at the right of the browser bar.  A dialogue box will open where you can assign a name to the web page and select a folder in which to place the bookmark.  To create a folder, click on the Edit button.  Make sure to click save when you are done.

Accessing Bookmarks:

  • To access your bookmarks, click on the “Bookmarks” menu at the top of the page.  
  • Choosing “Bookmarks Bar” as the folder in which to save the bookmark will make the bookmark more easily accessible, if you choose to display the Bookmarks Bar (appears under the URL; shown in the screenshot above).  To display the bookmarks bar:
    • Click on the chrome menu in the top right corner (the three horizontal bars)
    • Select “bookmarks” and then “show bookmarks bar
