Prerequisites for iPad Deployment

The iPad pre-requisites below must be completed in order before picking up the iPad. Please make sure you complete steps 1-3 below (in order) prior to picking up the iPad. If you have any questions, please contact the Tech Team at support@belenjesuit.org.

1. SET UP YOUR BELEN PASSWORD

  • Set up your Belen Password by visiting https://ssrpm.belenjesuit.org
  • Click on “Reset my password or Unlock my account” and enter your username. Your username is the root of your school-assigned email (the first part before the @ symbol, ie: pperez28)
  • When you enter the student's birthdate use the mm/dd/yyyy format. So, if you were born January 1, 1999, you will enter it 01/01/1999. If you input the birthdate incorrectly, the system will block you for an hour.
  • You will then be prompted for the student's ID number and then his zip code before resetting your password. YOUR PASSWORD MUST HAVE:
    • 8 or more characters
    • Upper & lower case letters
    • At least one number or special character
    • Do not use your name as part of the password
  • This will be your password for the network, email and My Belen

2. SET UP BELEN JESUIT STUDENT EMAIL

  • Log into your Belen Jesuit student email account by visiting http://mail.belenwolverines.org or http://gmail.com
  • Enter your Belen email address (ie: pperez28@belenwolverines.org)
  • Enter your Belen password (created in step 1)
  • You need to have access to your Belen email for the next step, the creation of your appleid.

3. SET UP AN APPLE ID ACCOUNT by visiting - https://appleid.apple.com/account

Please read these steps carefully before beginning the process.

  • Students must create an Apple ID using their Belen email (@belenwolverines.org) account provided by the school. Students should not use an existing Apple ID.
    • STUDENTS WHO ARE UNDER 13 YEARS OF AGE, PLEASE ENTER THE BIRTHDAY OF A PARENT OR GUARDIAN. You must remember the birthday entered in case you need to reset your Apple ID password. We suggest using the same password for your Apple ID account and email account.

  • When enabling two-factor authentication, please make sure you have MORE than one trusted phone number on your account. Parents' mobile phone numbers can be entered. If the student has a mobile phone, please be sure to enter that phone number also. If you no longer have access to your trusted phone number or the number is incorrect, you will not be able to log into your Apple ID account. For information on how to add additional trusted phone numbers visit https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT20265

4. LOG INTO MY BELEN

  1. Navigate to gmail.com and log in to your student gmail account
  2. Enter your Belen email address (ie: pperez28@belenwolverines.org)
  3. Enter your Belen password (created in step 1)
  4. Navigate to http://belenjesuit.myschoolapp.com/
  5. Enter your Belen email address (ie: pperez28@belenwolverines.org)
  6. Enter your Belen password (created in step 1)

5. LOG INTO YOUR BELEN EMAIL ON YOUR IPAD

  1. On your iPad, Navigate to Settings > Mail > Accounts
  2. Tap on Belen Email, tap on "Re-enter Password"
  3. Enter your Belen password (created in step 1)

iPad Case

Students will receive the Logitech Case - Rugged Combo 4 Touch with their iPad. Students are required to use this case with their iPad, and they can place school appropriate stickers on the case to personalize it and distinguish it from others.

Logitech Crayon

Students will also receive a Logitech Crayon USB-C for Education. We recommend adding a sticker or finding a method to distinguish your crayon from everyone else's.
