How do I set up my refreshed iPad?

iPad Set Up 

  • Start the Process - To begin the setup process for the iPad, swipe from left to right across the bottom of the screen and follow the setup guide. 
  • Set up as New or Restore from iCloud - You can either set up your iPad as new or restore it from an iCloud backup. New students should select “Don’t Transfer Apps & Data”
  • Belen Jesuit Configuration - Credentials to install the automatic configurations - Your username is the root of your school-assigned email (the first part of your email before the @ symbol, e.g. pperez28). The password is your Belen accounts password. If you do not know your password you can reset it by visiting https://ssrpm.belenjesuit.org
  • You will be required to authenticate on Securly with your Belen credentials on a regular basis to access the internet or any internet-dependent app.

Reminders

  • You must report any damage, loss, or theft of the iPad immediately to the Tech Team  via email at support@belenjesuit.org
  • Students may only download apps from the App Catalog found on the Jamf Student App. 
  • All repairs, including cracked screens, must be handled through the Technology Department. A replacement iPad will be issued to the student. Do not visit an Apple Retail Store Genius Bar for a repair unless authorized by the Belen Jesuit Technology Department. Failure to comply with this policy will result in a $50.00 iPad configuration fee.
